Madison High School

Covering an 85 acre site, this school campus is unique in that it has features of the land that were highlighted.  One of these is an existing wetland that remains protected and will eventually enable the students to complete a boardwalk project and see how wetlands function first hand.  The second is a blueline stream on the site.  Alon the stream, a planted meadow was created alongside paths to walk and connect directly with nature.  These plants end in a planting of wildflowers to further enhance the experience as the stream exist the site.

By using large heirloom trees throughout the site, the vision for this school will reach far into the future.

Then main entrances to the school as well as two outdoor classrooms were design in addition to pathways and hardscape to the baseball and softball fields.  This school will be a LEED Certified building, and is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2012.
